Not many aggies have shown back up here since the loss but more than a few are finally accepting that he needs to prove himself over the course of a full SEC season before annoiting him the next king of college football. Assuming we won't hear more than a peep out of them with them hitting the real meat of their schedule.

He played like a Freshman and made some Freshman mistakes. That said, he certainly got high praise from the LSU D Lineman that chased him all day. He's just learning how to understand the system better and work within it instead of trying to do it all himself. Plays he could get away with against other teams don't work with the speed of LSU. He was still good enough to put LSU on the ropes but screw the moral victories, he had 2 bad int's and a 3rd that bounced off a receiver's chest. Can't do that against the big boys.
The thing is most of those who claimed he was going to win the Heisman or whatever were not Aggies. Most of the Aggies who said similar things were doing it tongue in cheek for fun.
He will learn and he will get better though. He's not dead, he's just human. I would bet that he will have at least one more 500+ yard Total Offense game this season still though.
