You need to look up the definition of the word "suffering". It will have a picture of a Kentucky football fan besides it, not Georgia. You're 6-1 and only have one competitive game left on your schedule. Beat Florida and you are playing for a SEC championship.

Auburn and it isn't close at all. As bad as the football team is right now, they've actually got bigger problems.

Football 1-6 and almost certain to finish 3-9.
Baseball 13-17 in the SEC. 5th in the west and missed the tournament.
Men's basketball 5-11 in the SEC, 15-16 overall.
Women's basketball 5-11 in the SEC, 13-17 overall.
Women's softball 12-16 in the SEC.

They're sucking in all the sports that generate meaningful revenue and/or appear regularly on ESPN.

I would say Tenn.

I believe Auburn can come back pretty quickly with the right coach. They always seem to recruit well, regardless of how bad things are.

Tenn just seems lost as a program right now.

Seems so. They need to clean house, not just replace Chizik.

Tennessee may not be in much better shape, although their problem is the football program.

1. Broke.
2. Poor in-state recruiting.
3. Dooley asking for a buy-out last year (If true). Preceeded by the Kiffin debacle.
4. Has been in the dumpster for a few years.

Arkansas just has to replace a senile coach that replaced a self-centered scumbag. (Sounds similar to Tennessee sans senile). Arkansas has poor in-state recruiting, but has $.

Auburn is in the biggest mess. They can't fix the cronyism that runs through the school and athletic department. Their delusional cult-like fan base will welcome the next stooge coach and eat up whatever new slogan they come up with and act like everything is good again.

It takes a strong president, AD, and coach to tell the big money boosters to sit-down and STFU. Auburn doesn't have that.

The way things appear and the way I am feeling? I would raise my hand for Auburn being in a quagmire of negativity, and feel there is no unity on the team. I would have never believed I could say this a couple of months ago.

Auburn and its not close.

With the NCAA looking into Trooper's recruiting in south Florida as well as Reuben Foster's recruitment, the power struggle behind the scenes between boosters and ex-coaches, the fact that they only have 1 win, and it was in OT to ULM, then add in that the entire athletic dept is in the shitter, not just football.....

Yeah, I dont think its really close.

This is more factual.

If you're going by worst team right now, it's hands down Auburn.

If you're going by which program will likely take longer to turn around, I'd say Tenn. Tenn has been on a down cycle for longer than usual, isn't flush with cash, may stick with Dooley a bit longer, and has a Garcia-like QB who has talent to burn but who also has enough issues to keep them underachieving. Ark and Aub are both probably a good hire away from starting decent comebacks.

Yeah, I was a freshman in Tuscaloosa during Dubose's worst season at Bama so I guess that would have made me 8 years old in college? Damn, that's better than Doogie Howser, M.D.

Look, well all KNOW the barn is full of lying, cheating bastards....but we should wait until the NCAA says they're investigating. I for one hope the athletic department gets the death penalty and they lose their sacs accreditation, but there's just too much gator in me.

Very good assessment and one I agree with completely.
