Wasn't there also a stretch where Texas Tech hadn't beaten A&M in any single sport for like 2 years?

A&M actually had a stretch of over 1000 days where they had scoreboard on Tech in all 17 sports we played them in. They managed to eek out a win in Tennis last Spring that broke the string but we of course owned them in the remaining sports. Saying Tech is superior to A&M is like saying South Florida is better than Florida State or UAB is better than Auburn. It's just stupid and can't be supported by anything.
A&M and Texas will always compete in some ways, can't help that. It's less now than ever before though and every year we are in the SEC we will drift farther apart from each other.
As to the OP, single school networks simply don't work. There is not enough content nor enough fans of a single school to make it viable. The future is conference networks that spread over many states and have well over 10x the content without it being a fapfest for one school. The SEC Network will print money once it is launched.
