When was the last time State was good enough for such a game to matter? 98, 99, 00. Left plenty of you crying in those years...

When was the last time State beat Auburn before this year? 2007.

When was the last time Merlins beat Auburn before this year? Never. Not even as an assistant at Florida.

When was the last time State won 4 in a row against an SEC opponent before this year? Auburn 97-00. Vanderbilt 89-03.

When was the last time State beat Tennessee before this year? 1994.

When was the last time State won in the Swamp prior to 2010? 1965.

When was the last time State beat Georgia at all prior to 2010? 1974.

When was the last time State won it's opening SEC game prior to this season? 1999.

The last time the Yankees were swept in the playoffs prior to this season was 1980. That same year, Mississippi State knocked off #1 Alabama 6-3.

Alot of meaningless "streaks" have already gone down under Dan Mullen. What is left? Of things that actually matter to State fans, the next two are most important(to me personally):
-Win in the state of Arkansas
-Break the LSU streak
Of course, the Ole Miss fans among us will always make up another "milestone" for Mullen, in attempt to use to dismiss him.

Dan Mullen has never beat an SEC West team that didn't finish last in the division, except Ole Miss.
