Even then, it doesn't fit the air raid. It is almost counter productive. If you have multiple backs, you've brought more defenders in to the box. It seems like a no win unless you have a receiving mismatch, or you have a tight end that can stretch the field, and they can't stack the box in fear. Basically without Calvin Johnson and Gronkowski, I didn't see the air raid working. I want to be proven wrong, and if there is a QB that can do it, it is probably Johnny. But what if he can't? What happens when we lose Johnny? How anemic are we going to look?
