yes, I see that he had exactly ONE winning season. not really that big of a deal even if it happened during the suckiest of suck arse years.

and sorry don't care that he won the conference once in 7 years of being HC, Fran and Sherman both had more overall success which is sad.

I don't know if you realize it (being facetious of course, I know you know this) but we've been through a lot of down periods. Winning a conference championship when you haven't won one in 10 years and don't win one for another 10 years is a really f'in big deal in some peoples book. The only time during his career here and an 18 year stretch that we beat Texas was 1967. It may not mean a lot to you, but going 18 years and only beating your rival once, that's going to elevate you somewhat.

Bah. Never even won a non-shared divisional championship with either of them.
