Almost all. Not every category. Like I said not taking anything away from y'all but I think they get tripped up one game.
Some team is going to try shread our defense this season. Looking at our remaining schedule, I think MSU & aTm have the best shot at doing that, their offenses are pretty dang good. Heck, I think aTm will give LSU's defense fits this weekend - and I wonder if LSU can score points at the same pace at aTm. That's gonna be a good game.

are they? I hadn't checked to make sure.
Michigan does not appear in the BCS rankings.
Alabama fans are obviously sensitive. I haven't mentioned anything about LSU, but the Tide immediately make this into an "LSU inadequacy" issue.
The Tide haven't defeated a team worth mentioning. The Tide are also the runaway favorites to win the conference. These are facts.

Now you did it. You are supposed to bow down to their greatness and express what a privilege it is just for your team to be on the same field with them.
This guy gets it.

For this simple reason I was shocked to see them at BCS #1 and not Florida. But the human element holds more power in the BCS Formula now.

All a team can do is play the schedule and prepare to best of their ability each and every week. We have a tough 4 weeks coming up, and everyone of those teams have the talent and coaching to beat us. We'll just have to see how it all shakes out - the season is only half over - a lot of ball left to be played.

Agreed. If Alabama takes care of business, they have nothing to worry about. I just think it's interesting that they haven't gotten to the meat of their schedule, but are already the object of worship of the media and fans alike. Probably just the Alabama/Saban effect.

well, we have played at least 2 teams who can put up more than 12 points on Auburn, so thats something.

Human element has always had 2/3 of the formula.

This is an awful lot of hype for a team that hasn't played anyone worth mentioning. As defending BCS Champions coached by Our Lord and Savior Nicholas Saban, do they deserve the benefit of the doubt?
Their schedule is no weaker than it was last year. I expect Bama to give us a good fight here in Tiger Stadium, just like they did last year in BDS, but that should be expected for a team that only has to get up for one game a year.

LSU is the first SEC team to lose the BCSCG Will you revisit this thread when John L and Arky whip that arse by 13?

I'm not sure Alabama is the "object of worship of the media", Nick Saban is a good coach, and he has team ready to play ball every week.
His team is well coached, the players know their job and they execute the gameplan. His team is a well conditioned, fundamentally sound team that is hard to beat on any given day.

I support the missive except in my opinion I think Michigan had the crap beaten out of them by Alabama and that has something to do with the way they've played ever since. Pretty much came out of the gate and had their season destroyed. If they were playing Alabama this week, they'd be Top 25 or higher going into that game, then after Alabama makes them quit, disappear. The other teams, sure, and yeah Michigan ain't that good anyway.

Seriously? Dude, have you watched these games? Bama is a steamroller that just eats teams and shits them out. They are the runaway #1 by a long shot at this point.

I'm not blaming anyone; normally this would be a solid schedule. But seeing as you're preordained by the media as SEC champs, I find it interesting that you haven't really been tested.
Also of note that our greatest struggle was a 19 point win vs Ole Miss. We've absolutely crushed our opponents.
Besides getting dominated by UF physically, you struggled against one of the worst Auburn teams in recent memory, and giving up 22 points to the powerhouse that is Towson.

Because a lot of people actually watch the games, and see that alabama has beaten the dog shite out of everyone. 3 touchdowns is the smallest margin of victory. I know it grinds your gears, but who the frick else would you say is better today?

LOTS of teams are better than Bama, especially LSU. We've just had an easy schedule again. Probably lose 3 of the next 4.
