State is definitely capable of beating LSU, just look at last year's game. Who said they weren't? LSU doesn't play State until the week after Bama, so besides being at Tiger Stadium, they're going to be a little banged up for us as well.

Why are you guys all of a sudden so crazy about teams getting banged up. Ole Miss played Alabama and they were not banged up when they played Texas A&M and Auburn.

So Miss State playing in Tiger Stadium means something but them playing in BDS doesn't mean as much.

I think Miss State is a solid team, but they have some defensive issues. They played Troy on the road and gave up close to 600 yards. Now based on a hunch you feel they will defeat Alabama on road.

Anything can happen but I'm going to need to hear a very solid fact based argument to start thinking Miss Stat will come within a shot of winning that game.

I'm not sayin cannot happen, but a hunch or a good feeling is not very convincing.

The same Troy that lost to Western Kentucky at Home last week.

I agree with all of your points. I have already stated that this comes with no tangible argument. Yes, it is a feeling- a gut feeling. Just like the gut feeling I had when I watched Alabama play its first game in 2008 and after ten minutesI said to myself "They look like LSU did last year."

That game is not a good indicator of our defense. We played a lot of backups throughout the game.

We held Tennessee and their vaunted passing attack to 148 yds passing. We sold out to stop the pass and it allowed them to run the ball on us more effectively.

With Alabama, we will use our secondary to our advantage and stack the box to stop the run and hope our talented DBs can keep Mccarron an co in check.
