Nope. I expect an LSU regular season win against Bama, just like the last two years running. I just think State will soften them up a bit for us.

You were actually doing good and thinking like an obejective fan, but now you have shown your true reasons for creating this thread. I still enjoyed the debate though.

I'm more worried about the past 3 games where we have absolutely destroyed y'all.

My apologies for Merlins going in dry on you like that. A raw booty hole such as the one you have would make anyone a little irritable.

Also, my apologies for not remembering all those "great" Ole Miss teams from before I was fricking born. This is the uniqueness of Ole Miss. You think you are still the same team you were 50 years ago while trying to lump yourselves in with the LSU's and Bama's of the world based on some shite none of us were even alive when it happened. There comes a point when you have to give history a frickin break man

They are having a hard time wrapping their minds around state now having more students, more donations annually, and being better than them in almost every sport. I assume you are really good at something like track or women's soccer. Younger brother yes but not little in any sense of the word.

I think Miss State is a solid team, but they have some defensive issues. They played Troy on the road and gave up close to 600 yards

That game is not a good indicator of our defense. We played a lot of backups throughout the game.

We held Tennessee and their vaunted passing attack to 148 yds passing. We sold out to stop the pass and it allowed them to run the ball on us more effectively.

With Alabama, we will use our secondary to our advantage and stack the box to stop the run and hope our talented DBs can keep Mccarron an co in check.

With the clusterfrick football history that State has, I would be more worried about those games as well.

You are also expecting them to play on the road with minimum mistakes offensively or defensively against one of the most sound teams in the country.

That is the one thing State has really impressed me with. We are disciplined and don't get many penalties at all or turn the ball over. We play fundamentally sound which imo is why the Bama game will be close. It will take a couple lucky breaks to beat Bama though, ya'll are straight up more talented.

The debate was serious and the gump finally got to me with the last post I admit. I always expect LSU to win though, truth. I have conquered gump hating as my niece is the first gump in the family. I have adjusted.

All the tangibles are with Bama. I am simply allowing for a gut feeling and the eye test. Bama is everyone's Goliath this year and from the way I've seen State fight into the fourth, them bringing a good game and making Bama question themselves is not out of the question even if it is unlikely.
So much concern for State beating Bama but you're not worried about LSU beating State,aTm,Ole Miss?..

Thanks for the concern.

So I guess you will not have to play any backups at all when you play Alabama. You stopped TN from passing the ball yet to give up over 200 yards rushing which just as bad. You allowed South Alabama of all teams to get close to 350 yards of offense.

Anyone notice that it is solely LSU fans who call Bama upsets? Sounds like someone's intimidated.

Could happen, no disagreement here. They have an offense. Zing
