Unfortunately, we lost to USCe and that has a vast majority on the FIRE CMR Wagon. But may I present to you this scenario..
Suppose we win every game from here on out including a victory over currently #4 Florida.
Then where do we stand with Richt???
It's like we are trapped in this area of good, but not great with him.

UGA is in that strange success area. They're top 10 talent, but not competing for the top spot. So close, just not there. A coaching change is needed, but without a shitty season it won't happen.
Sounds like a sucky place to be, that's for sure. Expecting championships, but finishing JUST below that every year.

The way I see it is we need to go ahead and fire him/have him retire at the end of the year, and move on. This was his last shot at making a run and he's more than likely not going to do it. If Richt stays next year we'll be lucky to win 8 games with our schedule. He did a lot for the program, and would be leaving it in a better place than when he arrived, but he's proven he's not going to win a championship.
