Before the season, most claimed that it was Tyler Wilson or Aaron Murray. Some delusional fans claimed it was Bray or Mettsiah. Is there any doubt that halfway thru the season, it is hands down AJ McCannon followed closely by JFF.
What is Murray's record against ranked teams?

There is no clear cut answer as to who is the best. McCarron is up there, though.

Bama has the best OL. Put Tyler Wilson behind Bama's OL and he's leading the Heisman race. Behind Arkansas' crappy line? What more can he do?

The best QB in the SEC is McCarron. The 2nd best is whoever is second string at Bama. The 3rd best is whoever is third string at Bama. The 4th best is whatever high school QB is committed to Bama right now.

fwiw Tyler Bray has the most yards, touchdowns, and been sacked the fewest times.
and is listed as the highest draftable QB from the SEC on CBS sports draft board with a first round draft grade.
offense has not been the problem at any single point this season.

Honestly, I still say Wilson. It's not his fault the team has imploded around him, and I think the draft will reflect that.

AJ is playing some weak competition and has one of the best o-lines in the country. AJ wouldn't have won against South Carolina if he had started for Georgia Saturday night either.

Best QB is relative.
Best skill set ( i.e. could be great if the whole offense wasn't on his shoulders and had competent players around him)? Wilson.
Most effective ( i.e. is able to keep the offense on the field and turn it into points on the board) - McCarron or Shaw
Pure suck arse - Mocha/White/Jew Cams
Talented but folds under pressure -Gaysus
Best one foot still in the SW Conf/Big 12- Johnny Foosball
Best QB that needs to learn to get rid of the damn ball - Driskel

So many people underestimating the frick out of Connor Shaw.

Probably Wilson.
McCarron is 2nd.
Wilson may be first rounder still. McCarron will never be a first rounder. IMO.

Alabama has the best at everything. There. Now Alabama fans feel better.

quote:Is nowhere near the best QB in the league. He has two hours to throw every time he drops back. Wilson has thrown for 400+ yards twice this season with arguably the worst O-Line in division 1 football.
