I'm not arguing either way. Honestly I DGAF as A&M will likely rarely even play UGA. Keep him or don't.

Richt has done a lot more than "Be a good Christian" for you btw, dude has recruited lights out. UGA is in better position today than it was a couple years ago. He also won the East last year and at least gave LSU a run in the CG even though he was outmanned. He has added to your trophy case quite a bit in his tenure as well even if it doesn't include a crystal football.

I have to say I didn't think things could be much worse for A&M after the disaster that was the '02 season. My wife almost wouldn't let me go to A&M games anymore I got so upset every weekend. Then Fran showed me how it feels to lose 77-0 and know it could have been a lot worse. Suddenly it wasn't an issue if we were going to win the conference anymore, it was whether we could make a bowl game. It is hard to get back and the SEC is certainly unmerciful. Just realize how bad it can get.

I still am glad we fired RC. He had outlived his time at A&M and was going down. Of course his recruiting was also down and he simply wasn't keeping up with Stoops and Brown and he was even starting to get slapped around by some new guy named Leach at Tech. We went out and hired the best guy imaginable resume wise and it blew up big time. Just realize that is the risk you take. Not saying you shouldn't do it but understand how fast and how hard you can fall as well as how hard it can be to get back up.
