Over, UT has had a questionable running game and they destroyed them on the ground.

Disclaimer: Unless UGA got 5x better at putting themselves in position for the tackle this week.

Grantham had a lot of our secondary pretty deep to keep UTk receivers from getting behind them. Anytime one of their backs got past the line they had plenty of open field to rack up yards. That shouldn't be the case this week as we won't be as worried about the deep ball with Conner Shaw.

ETA: Our defense also played pretty shitty as well.

Our starting senior DE Abry Jones was hurt last week and only saw a handful of snaps. We had to move our mammoth DT John Jenkins (a future first round pick at DT btw) over to DE, which obviously is not his natural position. In addition to that, it was also MLB Herrera's first start playing Mike LB, which he had to do with Tree coming back and playing Moe. And furthermore, UT's ground game wasn't scary and we were far more focused on their receivers.

This week is the opposite. SC's pass doesn't scare us and we're going to sell out to stop the run. Jones is back, Jenkins will be back to his natural position, and Herrera is more comfortable with his new position.

SC will not rush for as many yards on us as UT did.
