I agree that at this point in time, the East seems to be on an upswing. We'll have to wait to see how some of the cross division conference games turnout to know for sure.

The whole argument that the East was down is overstated. USC has just risen the past 3 years and it pushed the other teams down. It's like saying the SEC East was down the previous 18 years, just b/c the Gamecocks weren't winning. All it is, one team ended up being better than the others, nothing changed but the order.

UGA would've been 11-1 in the Reg Season if you would've beaten us last year.

Now Tenn and Fla have been dumpster fires, but they're getting better. If the SEC east gets more competitive, that's ok, we're still recruiting and playing well.

If you look at some of these teams:
UGA is losing most of their defensive starters this year. Seriously, if Ogletree and Jones go NFL early, you'll lose 9 starters.
Florida could lose a lot of players if they have guys go early to the NFL. Just an estimate, I see 7 guys leaving on Def, and 3 on Off.
At Tenn, I could see 4 guys leaving on Off, and 2 on Def, but they have the worst club of the lot right now.
As far as Mizzou, I'm not even going to talk about them until they win an SEC game. Who knows, they might lose to Vandy this year.

All we know is that over the next couple of years teams are going to have to keep recruiting/playing well and that some teams are going to win more than others. I think USC has the coaches and players to keep winning.
