I take issue with this - some people who identify as heterosexual or homosexual, do not use that fact to define their existence or make a big deal out of it. Others do. Sexuality, both as a matter of status/identification/practice, might be a small part of the total person, or it might be a large part, or, as with most things and most people, somewhere in between.

There are 6 billion + individuals out there who are each unique, in some ways drastically. While I don't propose we celebrate every individual trait anyone might have, ever - the mere fact that a person is homosexual is not a bar to my treating them as I would any human being. Hopefully, they feel the same about us breeders.
