Don't know if it has been mentioned but one needs to be added for both Alabama and Auburn:

Alabama:

Charlie Wilson's War - The weapons specialist that Charlie Wilson (played by Tom Hanks) and his CIA buddy (Phillip Seamore Hoffman's character) meet with that is playing multiple games of chess was an Alabama grad in real life. He's now one of the highest ranked officials in the DOD.

Auburn:

Breach - The character portrayed by Ryan Phillipe was and Auburn grad an the real life FBI agent that help catch a notorious double agent.

most likely refering to the state in general or the river. Bandit and Cledus were from Georgia.
