Bars:
*These are so dependent on the type of crowd you want to mingle with.

Innisfree- Good mix of students and alumni on game weekends.
Alcove- Best beer bar in town, older crowd, more low key.
Gallettes/Bo's/Red Shed- Freshman year type stuff.
Houndstooth- Has gone downhill since they built the new building.

Entertainment:


The Green Bar(connected to Wilhagen's, kinda close to Copper Top) does 3 comedy nights a month. 2 of them are free open mic(some bad performers, but they always have 2 or 3 really good circuit guys as well) and then 1 pay show with all good guys for $5. Everyone should check it out sometime. Local comedy is a great time in a college town and there are some good comics that come through Tuscaloosa.


ETA: Every other Wednesday is when they do the comedy nights. If you ever see a guy named Nic Guyton perform then come up and meet and greet.
