Wrong, check again.

Alabama–LSU football rivalry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Overall, intensity has grown in the series during the last three decades with the two teams virtually splitting the series, with LSU narrowly leading 15–14–1.

Since 1982 the series is dead even at 21-21-1

1982 is significant because it ended an 11 game losing streak for LSU.

It's better than saying 2000.

I think 3 decades is a decent timeline to gauge a program.

Better than going back to the days of no scholarship limitations. No?

The point was FOR THE LAST RELEVANT DECADE, however now many of you can see Alabama has to go back 30 years to just get even in the series. I will acknowlege that prior to 1982, when the Bear was roaming the sidelines Bama was the better team overall.
