If the SEC feels that hit was illegal, they should have suspended the referee for not flagging it, and not the player.

I have the video paused right at the moment of impact. Elston led with his shoulder and hit him square in the chest. This wasn't targeting, this wasn't unnecessary roughness, it was a legal hit on a receiver who was trying to catch the ball for a touchdown.

I wonder if this had been a Bama or LSU player if there would have been a suspension? I think not.
