Should have been flagged. It was pretty bad, actually really bad.

Should not be suspended for the entire game though.

Please tell me what was wrong with it besides him just laying the wood on another player.

Led with his shoulder and hit him in the chest. Absolutely nothing wrong with that hit. That was a good clean hard hit

Why? Was it too hard? What makes that hit egregious? He led with his shoulder, not his head. That hit was football at it's best. Too many lawyers in sports now days.

Clean hit. It was violent, but he didn't launch himself, didn't spear didn't lead with any part of his helmet, and made a play to separate the player from the ball. This is what football is coming to. Players will be suspended for big hits.
