I'm sure you want to believe that, but it's just not so. LSU has upgrade at QB and LB, and has more depth in the trenches and at RB than last year.

Honestly haven't watched LSU play much this year so far. I think the secondary has a big drop, last year's was great. DL about same at best and LB a little better.

OL with injury looks like a wash to me. RB is the same as last year, only difference appears to be that Ware is finally dropped in rotation. That is a big improvement, but could/should have been done last year.
QB was very good last year through eight games. Haven't seen Mett yet so don't really know.

LSU may be better, but going into the year I have my doubts.

Bama has almost no chance of being better than last year.

Go back and watch the washington game. Ware is back to his freshmen form. Lighter and harder hittin then ever. I think he is our best back this year

I think you meant QB was nothing special last season. At no point was it really very good.

The LSU run game just dominated in every game and didn't need a good QB. It made our two below average QBs look respectable at times.

Mett actually looks like a solid QB who could potentially win a big game. This is the biggest improvement for LSU an makes this team better than last season as the secondary is the only unit that took a step back. That will be helped out by the stronger front seven and they are still a solid and talented unit.
