Glad you had a great time!

They started the "on the field" thing less than 10 years ago, before that it was actually guarded like Ft Knox. A&M has never had its field goal posts torn down in spite of some monster victories at home over the years.

The way it works out well is because they wait until all the players and coaches are cleared so the initial "burst of energy" is over. Then it may not be obvious but there is a huge amount of security all over the place and they are on the slightest incident in seconds ready to take someone off to the pokey if they want to start trouble. I have 2 young sons so it is something I look forward to a great deal, it's pretty fun to throw TD passes to your 9 year old or kick a FG at Kyle. Gotta keep your head on a swivel though, it's crazy down there and the odds of getting bumped with a body or a ball are at least 80%.

Glad y'all had fun. I spoke with a number of Florida fans and they were all very gracious & polite. Your fans were great representatives. I can honestly say I didn't see anyone acting a fool.

Geeze and to think y'all pulled a sword on an SMU cheerleader for trying to do flips on your sacred turf. Things have definitely improved.
