Having been around both a great deal, its not that far of a stretch. Positive development yeah but there is also something lost because of it.

Ah, but it IS a stretch, no?

A&M will never be a quaint little cow college again. That is a very good thing for the university's long term success. Losing that unique feel is tough to watch, but ineluctable given A&M's long term aims of being a major player in every facet of academia and college athletics.
