Not impressed overall with the look of USC defense
First game of the season. I was pleased with the 62 rushing yards on 36 attempts, 11 TFL, 5 sacks, 1 int, and 13 total points. We gave up a lot through the air but one play was like 78 yards. We've got some improvement to do though.

did a decent job on Stacy. I forget that Ingram and a DB that I can't name are gone. I got used to seeing some explosive plays from the Cock D last year. Thought the secondary was very suspect. Not flaming y'all at all just observing. Note I would take Clowney on any team I had and start him all day long and twice on Sunday

Ask yourself this, would you rather have Clowney now, or Nick Fairly circa 2010?
Lattimore now, or Mike Dyer circa 2010?
South Carolina: Georgia, we comin' fo yo unda achieva tittle!

Dear Lord. He dominated the first half of the game.

Stephon Gilmore, pick 10 by Buffalo. The secondary was definitely our biggest worry coming into the season. Then we had a starting corner go down with injury during practice. I'm sure after they have played a full game and can look at tape, they'll improve. We have a couple easier games coming up to work on everything. Tonight we looked shaky for sure but we won. We can work with that.

Lot of passes in the game that could have been catches if the Vandy WRs could catch. A little worrisome about the Cock secondary, but a W's a W.

Losing the great Ellis Johnson is gonna hurt more than most think. L.Ward is in way over his head this year.

Flaming ward after our defense gave up 13 points and under 300 yards?

I'm a Clowney fan, but he took a ton of plays off tonight.

good player, tweeting skills need improvement after he showed potential earlier today. Could possibly have been fatigue
Pre-game:
Jadeveon Clowny ?@JadeveonClowny
Since its Vanderbilt's QB's birthday if this gets 500 retweets I'll tell him happy birthday after I sack him.
Post-game:
Jadeveon Clowny ?@JadeveonClowny
Aaron Rodgers has the discount double check and Jordan Rodgers has the discount double choke.
I think the drop off in quality is really concerning for USC fans here, might need to work with the conditioning coach more on this area

You do realize USC was playing VANDY, right? Their QB only looked competent at the forward pass in relation to USC's inept passing game- even before Shaw's injury.

He is a great player but he can't do it by himself. He would be a monster at Bama or LSU where he is not the focus every play

NaturAl light that is not clowneys twitter. USC has a twitter ban during the season.

USC looked gassed during second half....conditioning doesnt look good. Of course Vandy's Rodgers ran around enough to the sidelines to wear out the DL.

The Vandy QB never set in the pocket long enough to throw. Pressure from all over, especially the other defensive end

out of shape too....
kinda funny all these guys putting him ahead of the LSU DE's....based on potential alone.....and hell, they have him as a heisman candidate....clearly, he has been reading his clippings.....this team just looked BAD.
I can imagine LSU playing vandy and just pounding that light DL....wearing them down....and eventually blowing them out....It's down to LSU/Bama/Ga now for the SEC.

hope can be a good thing or a bad thing....it wasn't the stats...I think clearly most see that SC has some serious problems that won't be fixed easily. I wasn't impressed with Vandy and I don't think they go bowling this year (before the season I did).

You do realize that real defenses (LSU and Bama) would be very disappointed with giving up 300+ yards and 13 points to a team that is clearly undertalented for an SEC team.....
