Basically, ESPN and the Longhorn Network found a loophole allowing them to televise the home games of other schools.

How, you ask? UT-San Antonio last year signed a deal to have all their games on the LHN.

When they joined the WAC, the WAC agreed to allow WAC home games to be broadcast on the LHN.

Of course, we suspect that they will try to put the Louisiana Tech game on the LHN...in which case we will forfeit the game, even if it puts our bowl chances at risk.

Bunch of commie bastards.
I hope they don't put the LT game on the LHN, mostly cuz I think that is complete crap, and should be fought tooth and nail by the SEC, but also I want to watch the game.

ETA: Also at least the WAC won't be around after this year. Never cared till I heard they will allow WAC home games on the LHN. Actually could they then, since it's not a LT home game

I forget where I read it but its already been announced teh game will not be on LHN and will be on a regular ESPN network.

I'm guessing it stays on ESPNU unless La Tech is undefeated and A&M is 3-2 or better. Worst case is it ends up on ESPN3.
