But that's just retarded. You can say that about any team. If Ole Miss had won all the games they lost last year, they would've been BCS champions.

This. This is true on all levels. The OP is awful. I'm not saying BAMA isnt a good team. They're a great team, but they should not be considered by anyone to be "technically" going for a five-peat this year. If you're talking about giving up late leads as winning a game, if i remember correctly, LSU gave up a late lead to you in 2009. It still doesnt matter. You must play all four quarters of all 14 games to be considered national champions.
