Whitaker, Blackson, Wright at DT. Hopefully Carter progresses into one. Holland should be. I think our safety's will surprise this year too.

And believe it or not, but Bates had the most tackles on the team last year. He's undersized, but if he plays smart, he can be effective. We had smaller OLB's than we have now under Tubs in 04, and they were very effective because they played smart. Hopefully Bates can do the same this year. He's in his 4th year and with VanGorder coaching the LB's I feel pretty confident we'll get his best play this year.

If Carter can stay on his feet for over 65% of the time he is on the field, that would be a huge improvement.
