It's okay to say anything. Doesn't mean it makes a bit of sense, but definitely okay to say.

You have no idea if this is true. If you're going to say this, you're basically calling Luper's son a liar since he was quoted as saying he wanted to go back to Texas all along to play his college ball. You don't believe that?
Pretty blind statement to say he was "sent packing."
