Yeah long after the season was over, in April.
So it had been discussed on the Internet and I even heard speculation of it on the radio right after it happened, but the AU coaches knew nothing about it until he testified at a trial?
If that is the case, Chizik should be fired for just being a dumbass.

I think Gus had more to do with Dyer's extended leash than anything else. Hell,he took Dyer after he got booted from AU.

Any tweets about this from au reporters or are they just saying oh well.
Goldberg and Phillip Marshall have tweeted it. Jay tate has as well. I have not seen anything formal or editorial about it yet. Nothing from AU Athletic dept either.
I did tweet dismukes myself and busted his balls a bit. Auburn needs him. Im sure he has a full mailbox.

There's been several tweets, all saying pretty much what we are...enough is enough. Phillip Marshall has a free article on 247 you can read.

Probably a don't ask don't tell thing. If it's just rumor and speculation on the internet then why would the coaches ask Dyer if its a fact and put themselves in a situation where they have to do something about it?
And if it's his gun, cool. He's not indicted with charges so it doesn't really matter. The coaches aren't here to play a game of "morality judge", they are here to win football games.

I do not follow any AU players. If they do anything newsworthy there are plenty of people who will retweet it.

I think they are stlll busy covering the coronation of Kheil.
Apparently, the twenty Kheil-centric articles and interviews posted on al.com yesterday were not enough.

From that blogger:
Damn, that's harsh.

In three seasons at your institution, the coaching staff has so miserably failed in this department that three men are dead, four men are going to prison and uncounted others have lost the opportunity to make a better life for themselves and their families.
The guy at the airport was right.
Damn, that's harsh.

i dont think you guys actually have any seniors. the fabled fountain of youth bubbles up from underneath the auburn athletic complex, keeping the team forever young. Ponce de Leon would be pissed to learn he was looking in the wrong state
The fountain of youth is in Georgia?

No, it's stupid. The Auburn coaching staff is responsible for murders and robberies? "Uncounted others?" Give me a break.

That's a bit over the top. There is only so much a coach can do. Obviously discipline is a concern in any program, but the coaching staff can't monitor their players 24/7.
