Yeah because no team has ever exceeded expectations in the preseason. Saying a team is backsliding because they win 8 games after losing pretty much their whole starting lineup from their national championship team and because they're predicted to have a slightly above average season right after that is ridiculous.

That's not what everyone's saying. Everyone is saying that you lost your best RB and the OC that helped get Auburn to the NC and an 8 win season after that.
Taking away Gus and Dyer is like parking your team on a hill and taking off the parking brake.
