Be honest, isn't there an invisible wall of separation between those AU fans who earned a diploma from AU and AU's sidewalk alumni?

I hope there is a real and padded wall between you and the rest of society.

To be honest, there's no such thing as invisible walls

It's some of that magic and witchcraft we've been brewing on the plains. Invisible walls exist

Maybe a bit..obviously having a far smaller fanbase than Alabama, but around the same number of grads, equals far fewer sidewalk fans. Also, I think being part of the Auburn "family" or whatever it is that you want to call it, has a lot to do with experiencing Auburn first hand...and being able to relate to others that have as well. I know it sounds cheesy and a little cliche, but for those of us that have, it really does seem kind of magical, and a bit spiritual. Also, sidewalk fans tend to love the football team for itself...grads tend to love the university and the football team as an extension of it. THIS is why the Alabama and Auburn fanbases truly are different.

Yes...not necessarily for everyone but most I think that attended feel that they were part of something very special. I would imagine many Bama grads would say the same thing about what it felt like to attend Alabama...to be a part of it versus just watching from the outside and rooting Alabama on.
