Mizzou Fan as a group are pretty realistic, quietly confident to some degree but not cocky because we know the hill is pretty steep. You will always have the few outlandish braggards, one sided homers and and trolls in any fan base. you friend could be caught up in the moment, working you or one of the above.

We have been through a horrific period in the '80s and '90's that will test the mettle of any fan base and flush the delusions of granduer right out of them. Pinkel and the 2000's have given us hope and confidence to make this switch.

We feel we will not 'get worked' day in and day out. We will get burned some, hopefully no game will get out of hand, and we could lose one or two that we should have won. On the other hand we hope to surprise some, gain some great experience and profile in new recruiting areas and nationally, uphold the standard in our bowl game (yes we expect to go bowling), and settle in for the hard work of pursuing a championship. We've been told that is the mindset needed, (to win the championship, not to just be competitive), and we are taking it to heart.
