JPW and Matthew Stafford had nearly identical stats when they were both still playing in college. You think it's a wash?
Javy Arenas and Tyrann Mathieu had similar stats. Yet, some (and I stress some) Alabama fans seem to think that Arenas was better.

Which one of these RBs is better?

1992 yards from scrimmage | 6.6 yards per play | 20 overall TDs

1859 yards from scrimmage | 6.6 yards per play | 17 overall TDs

It's just a question. AJ McCarron or Chris Todd. Both had similar stats.

Correct. But here's your hole. Chris Todd wasn't a first year starter in 09.

That's true, I won't argue that.

Tony franklin could have been bama's qb and they would have still won the championship

I would prefer McCarron.

Mccarron is a first round pick
I thought he was still at Alabama.

Todd is probably selling insurance
Maybe. It's possible.

Stats be damned
My exact point in this thread. People look way to far into stats when it's obvious who is the better player.

Cam Newton played in that same "rinky-dink" offense,

Didn't see that one coming.

Cam Newton is a very rare exception to the rule.

Ever wonder why the NFL isn't full of "spread" qb's?

Yes we do. Involves a hook, but we don't care.

Mccarron, because he has 10x the talent of Chris Todd. Stats fr a qb are irrelevant unless everyone if using the same playbook. You don't see anyone calling timmy Chang and Graham Harrell the GOAT. Todd is McElroy without the rare IQ
all that needed to be said right here.
