With the occasional exception of a game of national importance (Alabama, 2010, for instance) they seem to dislike walking across the street for a game in Fayetteville too, or at least sticking it out through the third quarter. But that's a story for another day.

CBP's firing has nothing to do with the ticket sales. We couldn’t sell out either stadium last year before he jumped on his bike. I don’t get it either. I've been a season ticket holder since 06; and just can’t understand why NWA alone doesn’t sell out Razorback Stadium. There's over 300K up here in population and we can't get 72K butts in the seats. I guess the fact that one has to make a minimal donation to the Razorback Foundation before they can buy season tickets could be one reason. But, I think $50 per seat per year is all one needs to donate for the upper level seats.

As a former student, I can speak for my friends and say raising student tickets from $5 to $65-85 is why a lot of students don't go. Why pay that much when you can tailgate an watch the game on tv? You also get stuck in the nosebleeds. I never went to a little rock game (no way would I drive to there for a "home" game) but most of my friends went at least once but they never actually made it into the game, again they would have to pay an additional fee. Plus most just tailgate then drive back to Fayetteville. Now that I am an alum, I wish I oils go to a game but it's just too expensive for a recent unemployed graduate.
