I guess none of you read the article with the interview?
Here is the part I am talking about.
Here is the part I am talking about.

Since being dismissed by Arkansas, schools such as Cal and NFL teams such as the Tennessee Titans have asked him to visit with their coaching staffs. He has done so and might continue.

Yeah, I didn't read the whole thing. NFL want him for OC or for HC? Or do we know yet?

Petrino is a brilliant offensive mind. If I were a Head Coach, I would invite him and I would pick his brain and have my offensive staff go over things with him as well.
But............ If I'm an AD, I wouldn't give him the time of day.

I could really see him going the NFL OC route for a while before he goes into another HC gig. Get his career back on track without being in the spotlight.
If his ego could handle it...

Probably OC...big time schools shouldn't give him the keys to the ship as his first job back IMO. He needs to lay low as an OC or something.

I don't blame you...I imagine you want to get back to winning those SEC Championships and BCS Bowl games.

I watched the interview and I saw a somewhat broken man who is truly sorry and ashamed of himself, and is working to fix his marriage and save his family.
I guess I should try to be more of a cynical bastard.

I don't see why choosing not to believe him makes individuals cynical. Excluding myself (cynical bastard), what has he done but lie in the past to benefit himself and why is this interview any different? I'm not cynical in this case (just in general), I'm just unwilling to believe a guy that has a career of lies to further said career.

bigtime schools WON'T give him a HC job right away.....probably for a good while. He may, however, get a good OC job. Most bigtime schools are a little more careful about turning the keys over to a guy with his character issues. Obviously, most of the programs have people running them with a little more intelligence thatn the arky fans on here that would take him back now.

lol...lot of young gullable kids on here that really don't see the bigger picture in all of this. They remind me of the tenn fans that have a mancrush on kiffin still.

Arky fans were told was a douche he was they just chose to ignore it and laugh it off, Look what he did to UL look what he did to the failcons, it was just a matter of time before he fricked arky, it's his character, it's what he is made of.
Arky would be the laughing stock of the NCAA if they hired him back, never gonna happen just sayin..
