The problem with Dallas is that it is overrun with Yankees. THEY are the assholes. Texas has a good job market because we have a comparatively well-run government for the most part. Dallas seems to be as far south as the Yankee assholes want to go. So we're stuck with them.

The problem with Dallas is Dallas. It's not in Texas. It's located in a wormhole the size of a city which travels straight to New York. Sure, Austin is full of California expatriots fleeing the fall of their home state, but at least they're laid back. Dallas has the lansdscape of Oklahoma populated with the same rude plastic bourgeois that inhabits the northeast.
