Is that flagpole out off of 69 headed toward Moundville that was bent by the tornado several years back still standing?

That was another infamous tornado but for difference reasons. It was one of the strongest (F4) and deadliest (11 fatalities) December tornadoes in U.S. history. I remember that tornado well as it preceded a very strong cold front that dropped the temperature from the low 70s the afternoon of the tornado to the mid 20s the following morning. I remember waking up to a dusting of snow with the wind howling out of the north. I remember the temp never getting out of the 20s the following day. That was December 16, 2000.

P.S. I remember seeing the HillCrest/Shelton State area just a couple of days after that tornado and remember seeing a bicycle wrapped around the flagpole in question.

My father and I were at our deer camp near Demopolis and it was 82 degrees, so, we decided to head home (Alabaster and Pelham.) When we were almost to Eutaw, a Tuscaloosa radio station said the tornado was south of us, so, I thought we were good. A moment later they broke in and said they had reported incorrectly and the tornado was around the Boligee exit. We didn't know whether to stay or go, so, we drove right up the interstate in the middle of it thinking we were ahead of it. When we got to the 69 interchange, the tornado had just crossed. That was a scary trip and one I'll never forget.
