Thanks for the update rolltide! Can you elaborate a little more on some of the new buildings or businesses that you noticed that have been constructed on 15th/McFarland?

Full moon just reopened and Krispy Kreme is near being complete. The new Hokkaido and Express Oil Change are also near completion. The CVS has cleared and there appears to be rebuilding of it along with the property next to the CVS that was being worked on. Also, the owner of the old Wood Square shopping center has started moving ground on the new development they proposed to the city council a few weeks ago. It is going to be a multi-million dollar Midtown type retail/residential development focusing on the village feel (a place where you can live, shop, eat and play) that Mayor Maddox wants in his Tuscaloosa Forward plan.

So a midtown type development will be where the big lots/old full moon bbq shopping center used to be?

Also, a midtown type development will be where the old cedar crest neighborhood was? Is cedar crest the neighborhood with the lake or is it on the otherside of 15th behind Hokkaido and Express Oil change?
