and I will tell you who it is NOT: Eli Gold. That guy sucks. Of course I dont like the Auburn announcer either. Tough to come after Jim Fyffe.
After Fyffe died, it was Munson at UGA, but that ole boy is gone now too.

I love Todd Ellis' enthusiasm, but I miss the days of Bob Fulton. He was outstanding. Hopefully we can get a guy like him again someday and let Todd be the color guy.

I love listening to Hawthorne, probably because he gets so dejected if something bad happens.

UK's Tom Leach can make some pretty terrible football exciting. Has some work to do though.

I have listened to many over the years and I think John Ward was the absolute best. He was very imformative and knowledgeable. Too many others try to be witty or are so drab in their delivery it is hard to listen to them.

Granted, I couldn't name another one because I don't spend a lot of time listening to radio broadcasts from other teams. I don't care for the good ole boy redneck guys though.

You have to know that the rest of the SEC hated Jim Fyffe, so I really wouldn't talk about anyone elses announcer.
