Don't forget that Franklin is coming off a bad shoulder injury and threw his first pigskin in months.

This. Plus expect Franklin to be eating turf and there could be a "possibilty" he re-injuries that shoulder.

Didnt the 2nd and 3rd stringers bail?

We lost our third stringer because he was never going to get a crack at playing time. It's not really a huge loss.
Berkstresser is there and doing fine, even if he is an idiot off the field.
Also, I've heard good things about Maty Mauk.

I won't say Franklin won't take some shots this year. He's alittle tougher than he gets credit. He's also hard to get a solid hit on. He's also making better decissions on what to do with the ball. His passing can be suspect at times and he was missing open recievers at the start of last season, but progressed by the end of the year.

Maty is the full package. He can run but is a highly accurate passer. I see him jumping past Berkstresser on the depth chart. He has also worked out with DGB alittle and they compliment each other very well. Looking forward to seeing Maty and DGB together on the field, soon.
