Gainesville? That's rich. Adam's is pretty damned spectacular IF you catch them on a good day. Other days it is pretty average. Everything else here is pretty damned average.

And as someone who frequents Terrell's and moved to Gainesville from Texas, anyone who says his ribs are similar to Texas style ribs should never critique BBQ again. I like them, but they are a poster child for the difference between BBQ east of the Mississippi and west of it.

The barbeque in Gainesville is okay, but nothing spectacular. The 3 places they mentioned aren't the greatest, but they'll do.

top 10 is a stretch though. But it isn't bad like LA or San Diego.

I lived there my first 23 years and find it laughable to find in a BBQ ranking...

The South has great BBQ. Pork is the linage of real Southern BBQ throughout the SEC Cities except Texas. Beef Brisket is the #1 BBQ item in Texas followed by Sausage, Chicken and Other Pork items like Ribs.
