Confirmed from SEC Digital Media Director Eric SanInocencio's Twitter Feed:
The "Darker the green, the more viewers ... #1 Texas' numbers were as much as number 7 (Missouri), 8 (Mississippi) and 9 (South Carolina) combined"
I think the SEC Network will do well in Texas.

Eric SanInocencio ?@EricSan Here's another tidbit on #SECKickoff12 website traffic numbers. According to calculations, 52 percent of all visitors were "new".
That's huge.

Pretty sure Texas is going to win everything related to "number of ___ in the SEC" due to sheer numbers, not to mention high concentrations of LSU, Arkansas, Bama, etc grads also in TX cities. If it isn't a viewers per state population, it means nothing

However, Arkansas (11th) fans stayed on the #SECKickoff12 page for the longest duration, followed by Pennsylvania (22nd).

The SEC has no idea what it got itself in to. We are going to be running the show soon.

This should be expected in pure population terms IMO. Still glad to see it though. Add a zero to the end of that TV contract Mr. Slive!
I'd be interested to know the per capita numbers(since that's where MS would be alot more competitive)..

Thread title should read "State of Texas Dominates" and leave it at that. What don't we dominate?

congratulations. by the way, with 26 million residents, you'd pretty much have to add all of the sec states population up to beat that. i think arkansas and mississippi have about 2 mil. each, la has 4 with ga and tn weighing in at 6. kentucky and bama would have to be added to exceed (barely) your population. we don't even need florida.
