No, it was plenty about reputation, but had they done the right hint back then, Sandusky would be in prison and there would have been no rapist on campus...thus no threat to recruits.

If anything, had PSU done it right, they could have become the long arm of the law with an example that they won't tolerate lawbreakers on their watch. See parents, HV is a safe place while we are roaming the halls.

That reporter needs perspective.

I wasn't talking about a physical threat to recruits. I'm quite certain he never tried that shiite and young men large enough to beat his arse or those that weren't vulnerable in some way.

I was just talking about the negative impact on recruiting the story would have had. The minute they didn't fire his arse and turn him in the first they heard of the crimes they had to bury it to protect themselves, their reputation and ultimately their recruiting.

We'll agree to disagree on this point and move on. I hope the ncaa releases all their plays and pops them good.

Given the recent revelations concerning who knew what and when, I could support the removal of PSU from NCAA competition for some period of time.
If any SEC, including Arkansas, was found in the same circumstances, then I'd support a ban for them also.
No fan of any school wants their team to win more than I want mine. But, not at the expense of covering up raping little kids.
