He doesn't have a good vertical leap at all, so if he is put in man coverage he'll be on RBs, Mosley and Lester can cover TEs.
He's not bad in zone, and Saban is teaching him, plus he's got Lester backing him up.
He's a very good in the box safety. He'll make plays in the back field, and in terms of forcing turnovers.

Lester could learn a thing or two from Vinnie, correct angles would be my first suggestion.
