on the coach on the field/ getting the most out of his ability scale, are we talking Jack Hunt or Josh Johns?

Dude is a solid player. In terms of pure ability not the best you will see but he knows how to play football. He will make many a play for us this season and in the future. Probably will end up in the NFL.

Considering he'll be a true sophomore, I'm not sure how anyone can answer this, though he's obviously not terrible to log as many snaps as he did as a true freshman on the GOAT defense

i think he's better than average; he's got good football smarts being Sal Sunseri's son...and hits like a mofo.
I would compare his skills and potential to that of maybe...Adam Archuleta. Adam started out as a walk-on and LB at AZ St....

Heisman lock, better than any LSU's dbs, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, etc.

Our best player in kickoff coverage, IMO.
On defense, he has great instincts, intelligence and versatility.
Always around the ball. Arrives with bad intentions. Never out of position.

He rates somewhere between average and Miss State. i think more on the scale of MSU.

You hear his name a lot during a game.He plays balls out.Pretty good player who gets the most out of his ability.
eta:Dudes father is a LB Coach.High School/College.Vinnie's probably had a sled and a tackling dummy in his backyard since he was ten.

I'm pretty excited to see his dad on the sideline.
what feedback there has been, has been positive.

Honestly the kid reminds me of a John Lynch. Not supremely talented but a helluva motor. Very smart football player that gets the most out of is limited ability by working his arse off.

Not saying he's as good as Matthieu, but he's cut out of the same mold. Not the best measurables, but a hell of a gamer. See's the ball, hits like a mac truck, and is always in 5th gear.
It is easy to root for a guy like that. I'd say ultimately, by the time he's a senior, he may get an All SEC mention (2nd or 3rd string) but that will be about it.

not that good
when he tried to rob Tony's card game it all went haywire and Furio got shot in the leg. Then fireman loving Vito shot him.
