Pick an SEC team other than Bama or LSU who could win it all

Anyone can go chalk and predict that last year's national champion and last year's SEC champion will battle it out again for a spot in the national title game and either will beat whatever team shows up.
What about ANOTHER team from the SEC that could up and do it this year?
I would have said Arky before all the offseason mess. I just don't see John L pulling it off. I don't really think it's realistic for any other West team this year. Maybe Auburn next year, but I think they are still a year away from that level.
There are three from the East who could do it:
1. UGA - just because of their schedule. They can get to Atlanta unbeaten. Once there, they can always win a one and done, especially because they would be fresher than any of the battle weary teams they might face from the West.
2. Florida - they still have the talent. If some of these 4 and 5 stars start playing like it, especially on defense, they could return to their glory days.
3. South Carolina - They have the two biggest elements needed to win a title, a strong running game and a great D line. The biggest challenge to them will be the schedule, getting LSU and Arky from the West.
Mizzou might be the monkey in the wrench for all three because I think Mizzou could beat any one of those three teams on any given Saturday.

Arkansas has a better chance than any of the teams you listed. We lost our head coach. We still have our OC, DC, and all of the rest of our coaching staff. Our OC has called this offense for years. I wouldn't be surprised if the drop off everybody is predicting doesn't happen at all.

I'd say Carolina...but none of these are likely.
They've got the best coach in the east, a thoroughbred in the backfield, and they can get after the quarterback

In order of chance:
UGA
South Carolina
Florida
A&M early will be tricky for Florida.

You forgot to add that there's always the chance that we're just better...but i concede your point.
I think Arkansas has a decent chance to make it. I like Davis and Wilson, and "nothing to lose since our coach already screwed us" mentality, and if they're anything like their fanbase, then they think they're the best team anyhow and WOOO PIG BITCHES.

It would be a bigger problem if we didn't have so many upperclassmen. We have a lot of experience on our team this year.

SC lost a bunch of starters- they will step back
Florida is not back to being Florida yet- they better be happy if they win 9 games
Mizzou will be a 6 win team
Georgia is the only school with a chance in the East

UGA cause they have the weakest Schedule.
But they are All Bark No Bite when they have to play the Big Boyz.
42-10 and Murray is Ghey

They don't. They play in the west.

Not really, IMO.
They play LSU & Bama, both are going to be loses, which is beside they fact they play South Carolina and Auburn on the road, which probably will be loses as well.
The three previously listed teams play one of LSU and Bama, at max. Georgia doesn't play either.

I think this is a trick question because this is NOT gonna happen, but...
I say UGA...despite Mark's niceness. The DC may have to kick Mark's arse behind closed doors, though...

FIFY
That'll be the only scenario in which I could see y'all winning the SEC championship.

I would agree and say UGA has the best shot other than Bama and LSU for the reasons already given.
My big concern would be if UGA does win the SEC, how do they avoid a HUGE choke job in the NCG? I think the last truly big game they didn't choke in was the Sugar Bowl against a vastly overrated Hawaii team.

As gay as Arkansas is, they are number one. They just have to beat Bama and LSU. They will still be really good. And gay

Not to be too much of a homer, but I believe the only 3 teams that stand a realistic shot are Bama, LSU, and UGA. USCe would come next, then Arkansas. Can't really see UF doing that this year, it would be an unbelievable turnaround for Muschamp and a 1st year OC. USCe over Arky because of schedule and stability.
I believe UGA should finish 11-1 this year, possibly 12-0 given our talent, our D, and our schedule, but I'm jaded enough to see 10-2 with a loss to either UT or Mizzou and a loss to either USCe or UF.
