Jeff scott has had 20+ carries in a game before too... why do you people keep pointing out things that apply for both teams like that makes your point?

Scott and Perkins have almost identical career numbers, I give you that much. The difference is that we don't expect to lean on Perkins to carry us. We actually expect him to get something like 130 carries, 700 yards, 3-5td. Jeff Scott's anticipated workload is truly daunting...

Scott is the only SEC-quality RB currently on your current roster IMO. Nick Parker rs his first year but where was he last year? He never got a touch, and your RB situation was dire by halftime of the BYU game. Had he been remotely close to SEC ready, he'd have been shouldering alot more of the burden last season. Same goes for Devin Thomas IMO...

I do believe that Mathers could potentially be a VERY good SEC back...It's just a shame he'll likely be thrown to the wolves as a tr FR behind that OL. If I am Freeze, I redshirt him regardless. Concede the present to build for the future(same thing we did with Joe Morrow, Tyler Russell, etc...)

Make sure you RS Quay and Autry while you're at it. Build for the future!

For the sake of conversation, Nick Parker has dropped a ton of weight and looked solid in the spring.

In general, I think it's safe to say that OM fans are hoping this staff can get more out of players with potential like Parker, Neat, Mosely, just to name a few who were under-utilized with the previous staff.
