re: CFN: The SEC's 6-1-1 Disaster

Many of you people that want this format don't realize that the LSU-Florida rivalry is probably going to be the most significant rivalry in the SEC over the next 20 or 30 years because both teams will consistently be among the most talented and highly ranked teams in the nation. So most LSU fans do not want to do away with the game completely. But it is asinine for conference officials to event present a format that doesn't afford its members the opportunity to play each other more than one out of every 6 yrs. No conference in the history of sports has featured such a ridiculous setup. And all of this to reserve the right to play one game? That's just really stupid hillbilly logic that could hurt the credibility of the conference down the road.
