LSU will play UF 12 times in the next 12 years. LSU will play Vandy 2 times in the next 12 years.
Ole Miss will play Vandy 12 times in the next 12 years. OM will play UF 2 times in the next 12 years.
Under a 6-2 format, however, LSU will play Vandy and UF the same amount Ole Miss will play Vandy and UF over a 12 year period.
(I'm not sure if those are the exact number of times we play teams from other divisions that aren't our permanents but you get the point.

Here... read this. This is why they chose not to do this.
Until you understand there are different perspectives on what is "fair", you can't be helped.

I read your column Bella. I understand perspectives. I don't think the parity of the two divisions changes the fact that the structure is inherently unfair and you have yet to convince me why the above scenario is fair.
