You're right. 2003. It was odd because it was the first hurricane I experienced that came ashore during the day. The party that preceded was awesome. Clean-up sucked. 5 days with no power for us. Sweet dreams to generator humming.

Lucky. We were without for 8 days, and I think parts of Richmond were without for 2+ weeks. Also in the 12 years I lived in Richmond, I think that was the hottest I remember it being in late Sep. I do wish we had power so I could of watched that VT-A&M game though. I bet that would of been interesting. Driving rain, and 50+/- mph winds. Recipe for comedy if you don't have a dog in the fight(other than always wanting VT to lose)
